1. Vision & What This Program Is

Architecture Hujra Campus Ambassadors is a community of architecture students across Pakistan who represent Imarat Gallery on their own campuses, build active architecture communities among their peers, and connect students to the wider profession — mentors, opportunities, and each other.

An ambassador is not a promoter whose job is to repost content. An ambassador is a campus representative and an emerging community leader. Every task in this program exists to build something real at the ambassador's own university — not simply to grow Imarat Gallery's following.

Guiding line for every ambassador: “I am building an architecture community on my campus, and creating opportunities for myself and the students around me.”

2. What an Ambassador Does

Every ambassador holds four connected responsibilities:

• Community Builder — grow and maintain an active architecture community within their own university.

• Content Creator — surface interesting student work, campus activity, and discussion for the wider Architecture Hujra community.

• Event Leader — organize small, achievable campus activities: debates, discussions, meetups, design challenges.

• Career Connector — pass on verified opportunities — internships, jobs, workshops, mentorship — to their community.

Monthly minimum (the baseline every ambassador is expected to meet)

• 1 content activity — share or create one relevant post or activity.

• 5 new members — invite at least five relevant architecture students to the campus community.

• 1 engagement activity — a poll, question, discussion, or mini-debate.

Note: Quality of engagement matters more than headcount. A campus group of 40 genuinely active students is worth more than 300 silent members, and ambassadors are evaluated accordingly — see Section 6.

3. Term of Service & Succession

An ambassadorship is not a fixed six-month contract. An ambassador holds the role for as long as they remain a student at their university.

When an ambassador is about to graduate, their responsibility is to identify and hand over the role to their own successor at that campus, so the community they built continues without a gap.

Handover checklist (outgoing ambassador)

• Introduce the incoming ambassador to the Architecture Hujra Ambassador group.

• Transfer admin rights of the campus WhatsApp/community group.

• Share the campus contact list and any active collaborators (societies, faculty, active students).

• Brief the incoming ambassador on any ongoing student project submissions or planned activities.

• Introduce the incoming ambassador personally to their campus network where possible.

Note: A handover is only complete once Imarat Gallery has confirmed the incoming ambassador in writing (see Section 4 for selection).

4. Selection Criteria

Ambassadors are chosen for genuine interest and reliability, not for follower count or seniority.

• Currently enrolled architecture student (any year).

• Demonstrates genuine interest in community-building, not only self-promotion.

• Reasonably active and reachable — able to commit to the mounthly minimum.

• Respectful, professional conduct in prior interactions with Imarat Gallery or fellow students.

• For successor selection: nominated by the outgoing ambassador and confirmed by Imarat Gallery.

Selection process: expression of interest → short informal conversation with the Imarat Gallery team → confirmation → added to the Ambassador WhatsApp group → onboarding.

5. Ambassador Commitment

Before joining, every ambassador agrees to the following:

1. Represent Architecture Hujra and Imarat Gallery professionally, on and off campus.

2. Build a genuine student community — not simply collect members.

3. Complete the Monthly minimum activity and stay reachable to the Imarat Gallery team.

4. Respect other universities, other ambassadors, and all students equally.

5. Avoid political, personal, or inappropriate content through the official community.

6. Share only verified opportunities — confirm before posting jobs, internships, or events.

7. Encourage genuine participation rather than simply collecting members.

8. Maintain professional, respectful communication at all times.

9. Support fellow ambassadors, especially those at other universities.

10. Act as a leader — bring ideas, don't only wait for instructions.

6. Conduct & Removal Policy

The program is built on trust. If an ambassador breaches the Ambassador Commitment (Section 5), the following process applies:

• First instance: a private, direct conversation with the Imarat Gallery team to understand and correct the issue.

• Continued breach, or a serious violation (harassment, dishonesty, unverified/harmful content shared as official Architecture Hujra material): removal from the program.

• Prolonged inactivity (no Monthly minimum activity, unreachable for an extended period without notice): the ambassador may be asked to step down so the campus can be represented actively.

• A removed ambassador's campus is not left vacant — Imarat Gallery works with the remaining community to identify a new ambassador.

Note: The goal of this policy is to protect the community and the ambassadors within it, not to penalize honest mistakes made in good faith.

7. Branding & Content Kit

A shared, locked set of templates keeps every campus's output recognizable as Architecture Hujra while staying easy for ambassadors to use without design experience. Templates are built and shared as editable Canva files at zero cost.

To be finalized in discussion with the ambassador group before first use. Planned set:

• Reel/clip template — for short video content (e.g. debate highlight clips)

• Social media post template

• Story template

• Event announcement template

• Certificate template

Note: Kept deliberately small at launch. More templates can be added once the group sees which ones actually get used.

Content Kit — what each activity actually needs

Note: A short filled-in example will be provided alongside each blank template, so the first submission is easy to copy rather than interpret from scratch.

8. Recognition

At this stage, recognition is kept intentionally simple and in soft form:

• Official Architecture Hujra Ambassador Certificate, issued on completion of a full term or on graduation.

• Public shout-outs for strong campus activity or content, shared in the Ambassador group and on Architecture Hujra's platforms where relevant.

Note: Points systems, leaderboards, awards, regional coordinator roles, and an alumni network are future-stage plans, to be introduced only once the program has funding and has proven itself with the founding batch. They are intentionally left out of this version.

9. How Ambassadors Stay Connected

• One central Architecture Hujra Ambassador WhatsApp group for all ambassadors, across universities.

• Each ambassador also runs their own campus-level community group.

• Ambassadors are encouraged to collaborate across campuses (e.g. a joint online debate between two universities) once their own campus community is active.

10. A Note to Every Ambassador

You are not here to post on behalf of Architecture Hujra. You are here because your campus needs someone who brings people together, starts conversations, and creates opportunities.

You will hold this role for as long as you are a student — and when you graduate, the community you built continues through the person you choose to hand it to.

Architecture Hujra is your platform. Your campus is your community. Your leadership is what makes this network grow.
