IMARAT GALLERY
Where Pakistan's architects meet, learn, and inspire
From 2023
What is Imarat Gallery
Imarat Gallery is a platform built for the architects of Pakistan — a space where work is showcased, knowledge is shared, and the architecture community stays connected. From established professionals to fresh graduates, Imarat Gallery brings together the people shaping the built environment of this region, giving them a home to display their projects, exchange ideas, and grow together.
Rooted in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and built for all of Pakistan, Imarat Gallery exists to close a gap that has long existed in our design community — a lack of platforms dedicated purely to celebrating, documenting, and educating around local architecture. We are building that platform, one architect, one project, one story at a time.
Vision
To become the leading platform for architecture in Pakistan — a trusted digital home where every architect's work is seen, every student finds guidance, and the region's architectural knowledge is preserved and passed forward.
MISSION
To give Pakistani architects, especially from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, a dedicated platform to showcase their work to a wider audienceTo build a connected community of professionals and students who learn from and inspire one another
To create accessible educational content that bridges the gap between classroom learning and real industry experience
To document and preserve the knowledge, journeys, and lessons of senior architects for the next generation

The idea
The idea for Imarat Gallery was born — a vision to give Pakistan's architects, especially those from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, a dedicated platform to showcase their work, share knowledge, and build a true architecture community.Establishment and building the team
Imarat Gallery was officially established by Ar. Muhammad Farhan Farhat. The same year, Aleena Khan joined as Manager, helping shape the platform's direction and bring the idea to life.
2026
Strengthening the team
Malak Ansar joined the Imarat Gallery team, leading media and visual storytelling — adding a new dimension to how the platform shares architecture with its audience.
Growing the community
From an idea in 2019 to a growing platform today, Imarat Gallery continues to bring together architects, students, and enthusiasts from across Pakistan — a space to showcase work, exchange knowledge, and stay connected to the architecture shaping the country.
Series
The platform expanded its storytelling horizons in 2024 by launching the celebrated Mimaar Series, a dedicated initiative to shift the lens from finished concrete facades onto the authentic human stories and design struggles of the builders themselves. This momentum carried into 2025 with the introduction of our official Podcast Series, which established a vital digital audio archive and neutral media forum to host critical professional discourses, election coverage, and raw mentorship for the next generation of Pakistani architects
What's next
Imarat Gallery is just getting started. With new initiatives like "Meet the Architect: Architecture Hujra" on the horizon, the platform is expanding beyond showcasing work into documenting the voices and legacies that have shaped the profession — for the generation that will shape its future.
